Step 1. Input Ebooks

Drag and drop the ebooks to the program window. There are also 2 ways to import ebooks: click "Add Files" to input ebooks via an explorer window; click "Add Folder" or "Add Folder with Sub-Folders" to select a folder and Any EBook Converter Free will scan and add all the supported ebook files to the conversion list. The details like the filename, size and format will be displayed. You can continue to add more files, remove selected ones from the list, or clear all. An ebook reader is also integrated and if you want to read a listed book, just left-click on it to highlight it and click "Reader" to open it in our e-reader. To view the metadata of highlighted ebook, just click "File Info".

Step 2. Choose Output Folder & Format

All the listed files are ticked and you can untick the files you don't want to convert. You can enter the path where you want to save the output ebooks in "Out directory" bar or click the folder icon at the right to select the directory. Then, in the "Brand" menu, choose the brand of your devices; in "Device" menu, choose the type of your device under this brand; in "Format" menu, some formats compatible with the selected device will be listed, choose the one you need. There are more considerate setting may come useful at the bottom. The "Create parent folder in output" will help save all output ebooks in a newly created folder named "ebook" in designated output directory. If you want to ignore the ebooks in the same format as the target format, tick "Don't convert if source is the same format". The "Parallel conversion count" is used to set the maximum parallel conversion processes allowed (by default it will start 4 processes and it supports up to 16 processes).

Step 3. Convert Ebooks

When everything's ready, hit "Start Conversion" to convert ebooks. After conversion, click "Open" button next to "Output directory" to directly open the output folder to find the converted ebooks.
